2010 Board of Directors
Chairman of the Board	Gary Carter
President	Kristin Jernigan has been employed by the State of Tennessee Department of Children's Services since October 2004. She has been a Child Protective Services investigator in Putnam County for the majority of that time but now serves as the Court Liaison for Cumberland, Overton and Fentress Counties. Kristin graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work in December 2003. Kristin has been a member of the Cookeville Jaycees since January 2009 and was appointed as the Publicity Director in June 2009.
Individual Development VP	Justin Lytal currently works at the Law Offices of Scott Lytal. He attended Tennessee Technological University where he received a B.S. in Finance. He joined the Cookeville Jaycees in 2008.
Management VP	Brandise Layne attended Tennessee Technological University where she was active in Student Government, and held several offices in Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. Since receiving her B.S. in Child & Family Studies, her career in social work has been focused on at-risk children and adolescents, family preservation, behavior management, and adults with mental illness. Brandise is currently the Alzheimer Program Director at Raintree Manor, a Long Term Care Facility in McMinnville TN. She is an active volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Alzheimer's Association, and also facilitates a support group for Alzheimer's Disease. She has been a member of the Cookeville Jaycees since February 2009.
Community VP	Brooke Armistead has been employed with the State of Tennessee Department of Children's Services since March of 2005. She has been a Child Protective Services investigator in Smith, Macon, and Dekalb Counties throughout her time with the Department; however, Brooke was recently hired as a Child Protective Services Specialist Investigator for the entire Upper Cumberland. Brooke graduated from Austin Peay State University with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance and a minor in Psychology. She was also a member of the Austin Peay State University Women's Basketball Program from 1999-2003. Brooke obtained her M.S. from Austin Peay State University in Exercise Physiology in December of 2004. Brooke has been a member of the Cookeville Jaycees since January 2009.
Membership VP	Catherine "Cat" Berry graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Psychology and Human Ecology in December 2007. She was a member and officer of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, and also sweetheart to Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Catherine currently works at Averitt Express in Supply Chain Solutions for the Diamond Crystal Brands and Fuji Film accounts. She has been a member of the Cookeville Jaycees since July 2009.
Treasurer	Brandy Malone is currently in her 5th year teaching PreK in Putnam County. She has been located at Upperman High School for the past three years. She graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 2004 with a licensure in PreK - 4th grade. She received her masters in 2008 in Advanced Studies in Teaching and Learning. She joined the Cookeville Jaycees in February of 2009.
Secretary	Liz Reed
State Director	Col. Jason Dunham is the Software Design Manager for Cash Express, LLC. He received an A.A.S in Criminal Justice, a B.S. in Sociology, and a B.S. in Business Administration (Management Information Systems) from Tennessee Technological University. He joined the Cookeville Jaycees in 2000 and has served as President, Individual Development VP, and State Director.
